One skirt many styles: Sustainable Fashion

Share with friends

Hello Fashion lovers. In my recent commitment of moving to a more sustainable lifestyle, I’ve had to make better choices when purchasing anything.

Moving to a sustainable lifestyle doesn’t mean throwing away your old clothes and buying new clothes from sustainable brands. It simply means using whatever you already have until you can’t use it any more then committing to never purchasing anything from the fast fashion brands.

I have created three looks with the same skirt that you might want to try. I will add more looks every time I wear this skirt because I am here to normalise repeating clothes.

You can get this skirt and the hat  HERE.

First look is the skirt with a very simple tank top, french beret to give it that chic feel, a little statement bag and red heels. Red is my go to colour. You can change up these colours according to the colours you feel will flatter your skin tone. On this actual day, I was inParis on my way to meeting a friend for long late lunch.

The second look is more comfortable in terms of shoes and more laid back. This look is perfect for those chilly days. I paired it with the french beret, an oversize sweater which I slightly tucked in to give it a more edgy feel, a simple black sling bag and comfortable chunky boots. This was a walk in Milan where I went to visit a few fashion spots. I knew it would be long walks so I went for a very  comfortable look. My statement piece here was the french beret.

The third look is a dinner fit. I didn’t want to add any loud statement piece to this look because the earrings were already loud in my opinion because my personal style is more subtle. I understand that mixing prints and patterns can go so wrong but as long as you keep the rule of thumb with prints you’ll be fine.

Thanks for checking. Feel free to leave your thoughts, add some more tips or ask questions in the comment box. I would love to connect with you on my social media handles below.
